ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Duncan Atherton BSc (Hons), MBBS, MD, FRCS (Plast) has over 21 years of experience as a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon.
He currently works as a consultant at Guy's and St. Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and as Deputy Head of Service for the Evelina Cleft Service.
He divides his time between a busy NHS service specialising in cleft lip and palate and a thriving private rhinoplasty practice. He is also an enthusiastic teacher and surgical trainer, continuing to publish widely in his field and to this end is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London.
He is BAAPS and BAPRAS accredited, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and is a member of the European Rhinoplasty Society
