ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dr. Claudine Thereza-Bussolaro, DDS, MSc, PhD is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, researcher, and Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry, Universidade de Cuiabá in Mato Grosso, Brazil. She also collaborates in research with the University of Alberta in Canada.
Her academic and clinical interests focus on oral and maxillofacial surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, CBCT imaging, and risk prediction in oral surgery. Her research has particularly examined predictive factors associated with inferior alveolar nerve injury following mandibular third molar surgery.
Dr. Bussolaro is an active researcher and international lecturer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Her recent research includes systematic reviews and meta-analyses investigating tomographic predictors of inferior alveolar nerve injury, further contributing to evidence-based approaches for risk assessment in third molar surgery.
