SPEAKER: Â Dr Tewodros Tefera (DMD,MDS) is an AOCMF National Faculty, Fellow IAOMS, Fellow AfAOMS, the President of Ethiopian Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ESOMS), Consultant Oral and Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeon and the Head of the Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery at Yekatit 12 Hospital Medical College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Dr. Tefera will focus on "Gunshot injury during war time" Â including a case of a LeFort I transmaxillary approach used to remove a missile from a sphenoid sinus in combination with a submental island flap with temporalis muscle flap used to reconstract a sever facial defect secondary to missile injury.
