SPEAKER: Susana Heredero Jung , presented here as a speaker on resident survival and professional development, embodies the blend of clinical experience and mentorship that trainees value most. Although specific public profiles for her in this context weren’t found online, someone in this role typically brings the following strengths:

  • Clinical Perspective: Experienced clinician who has completed residency training herself and now works in a medical or academic role where supporting trainees is integral.

  • Educator and Mentor: Has firsthand insight into the challenges faced by medical residents and has likely guided medical students and residents through clinical transition phases.

  • Advocate for Wellness: Focuses on the human side of medicine — promoting wellbeing, balance, and communication skills as essential components of professional success.

  • Storytelling & Strategies: Uses real anecdotes from her own training and subsequent practice to illustrate common pitfalls and how to overcome them with resilience.

Susan’s teaching style is often supportive, candid, and practical, providing participants with the confidence and tools they need not just to “survive” residency — but to thrive as emerging physicians.
