About the event

Jaws – The Story of a Hidden Epidemic is a thought-provoking exploration of how modern lifestyle, diet and cultural shifts have contributed to a largely unrecognized health crisis affecting jaw development, dental alignment and airway function. In this compelling narrative, Dr. Sandra Kahn, a pioneering orthodontist, and Dr. Paul R. Ehrlich, a renowned biologist and evolutionist, reveal that shrinking jaws and crowded teeth are not simply cosmetic issues but part of a broader epidemic with implications for breathing, sleep and overall health. The book examines the biological, environmental and behavioral factors driving these changes and proposes practical solutions that go beyond conventional orthodontics to support healthier craniofacial growth and wellbeing. Jaws challenges readers to rethink commonly held assumptions about dental care and highlights the importance of early preventive action for future generations.
