ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Professor Tao Wang, DDS, PhD, is a leading expert in orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, and pre-prosthodontic surgery, with a distinguished career combining clinical practice, research, and academic leadership. He graduated from Sichuan University’s West China Stomatology Hospital and furthered his expertise with postdoctoral research at INSERM, Lille University, France. Formerly the Dean of the Affiliated Stomatology College at Chongqing Medical University, Professor Wang has held key roles in multiple professional committees, including the Chinese Stomatology Association and the Chinese Medical Association. His research focuses on the coordination of surgical and prosthodontic care for complex maxillofacial deformities, emphasizing multidisciplinary approaches for optimal functional and aesthetic outcomes.
