Understand the role of maxillomandibular advancement (MMA) in the surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
Evaluate airway anatomy and pathophysiology relevant to MMA surgery and its impact on upper airway dimensions.
Assess esthetic considerations and facial balance changes associated with MMA procedures.
Identify patient selection criteria that balance functional airway improvement with esthetic outcomes.
Integrate cephalometric analysis, imaging, and virtual planning into preoperative assessment and surgical decision-making.
Optimize surgical planning and patient counseling by aligning airway goals with esthetic expectations.

SurgeON is truly honored to have Dr. Kasey Li as speaker. Dr. Li co-founded the multidisciplinary OSA treatment program with Dr. Christian Guilleminault at Stanford Sleep Disorders Clinic in 1998 and is the surgical consultant to numerous sleep disorder centers. He has published more than 100 articles on sleep apnea surgery and maxillofacial surgery. He will share his vast experience in maxillomandibular advancement for OSA considering esthetics and airway.
