TITLE

Marco Caminiti : Are we dependant on digital planning in orthognathic surgery?

TALK INFO

This session explores the evolving role of Virtual Surgical Planning (VSP) in orthognathic surgery. While VSP offers advanced visualization and planning capabilities, it is time-consuming, requires expensive hardware and software, and poses challenges in managing dental occlusion and soft tissue simulation. Dr. Caminiti will discuss why VSP should not replace traditional methods but rather complement them as a valuable surgical planning tool. Participants will gain a balanced perspective on integrating digital planning into clinical practice.
