Understand strategies to optimize speech, swallowing, voice, and mouth opening during rehabilitation. Appreciate the impact of comprehensive SLP interventions on patient recovery, quality of life, and functional outcomes. Apply insights to integrate SLP services effectively within multidisciplinary head and neck cancer care. ABOUT THE SPEAKER Stephanie Davis Acute care speech language pathologist and board certified specialist in swallowing working for a Level I trauma and academic teaching hospital. She works closely with renowned physicians, research fields, and participate in ENT clinic, Tumor board, and provide expertise in management of dysphagia. Her daily activities include assessment/treatment of voice, fluency, brain injury, trach/vent management, neurologic deficits, and swallowing disorders effecting infants through the geriatric population. I provide skilled services in addition at our Level III and II NICU providing FEES, VFSS, and bedside evaluations as well as treatments. She has received nine ASHA Continuing Education awards (ACE) for her continued commitment to expanding her knowledge and skills to better aid her patients, and she serves as Past President for the Jacksonville Area Speech Pathology Association.
