Patrick Arcache: Side effects of mandibular advancement splints used to manage sleep breathing disorders

In his talk, Dr. Arcache will explore both the therapeutic benefits and the potential complications associated with this widely used treatment. Surgeons will gain valuable insights into recognizing and managing side effects, improving patient outcomes, and integrating this knowledge into surgical decision-making. SPEAKER:

A graduate of St. Joseph University, Dr. Patrick Arcache earned a certificate in Temporomandibular Disorders, Occlusion, and Restorative Dentistry from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

For more than twenty-five years, he has directed the Orofacial Pain Clinic at the University of Montreal, where he also teaches Occlusion in the Department of Orthodontics. His clinical practice is dedicated to the management of Orofacial Pain, Craniomandibular Disorders, and Sleep Breathing Disorders. At the University of Montreal, Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Arcache is actively involved in clinical research, particularly in the field of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).

He is a past President of the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics and maintains membership in numerous professional associations.

An accomplished speaker, Dr. Arcache has lectured widely on temporomandibular disorders and sleep apnea across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, and has organized hands-on seminars to advance training in these fields.
