SPEAKER: Prof. Mohamed A.K. El Massry, MB.BCh., MSc., BDS, MD, is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at Alexandria University, Egypt, and serves as a Consultant for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at the Ministry of Health in Kuwait. He obtained his MB.BCh. from Alexandria University in 1975, followed by a Master’s degree in General Surgery in 1979 and a BDS in 1983. He completed his Ph.D. in Cranio-Maxillofacial and Plastic Surgery in 1984.

From 1985 to 1988, he trained as a Registrar and Senior Registrar at Queen Mary’s Hospital in London, UK. He was appointed Professor of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at Alexandria University in 1994 and held the position of Chairman of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery at Kuwait's Ministry of Health from 2002 to 2012. Since becoming an Emeritus Professor in 2012, he continues to work actively as a Consultant in Kuwait. Prof. El Massry is a member of both the European Association of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Egyptian Association of Maxillofacial Surgeons.
