This March, as part of SurgeON’s Women in Surgery Month, we are hosting a special Resident Women in Surgery Panel, bringing together outstanding female residents from around the world for an honest, inspiring, and practical conversation about the path into surgical leadership.

This session is about more than careers — it is about voice, resilience, mentorship, and building the surgical community of the future. This will be an interactive live conversation — residents sharing their experiences, challenges, and ambitions with colleagues across the global surgical community

Together we will discuss:

• What it really takes to thrive during surgical training

• Navigating mentorship, research, and leadership opportunities

• Balancing excellence, ambition, and personal life

• The evolving role of women in shaping modern surgery

• Advice residents wish they had received earlier
