Jens Berli: Phalloplasty - techniques and outcomes

Phalloplasty is a highly complex reconstructive procedure. Given the wide range of patient goals, it's useful to view phalloplasty as a modular set of procedures that can be customized to meet each individual's needs while considering their unique anatomy. Currently, there is no consensus among surgeons about the optimal sequence of these reconstructive steps. Dr. Berli presents the most commonly performed and reported options in phallic reconstruction, along with the factors that influence the choice of procedural sequence for each patient. Additionally, he will address the common complications associated with each module and how these issues can interact when different techniques are combined.
