Drawing on decades of experience as a surgeon, educator, scientist, and mentor, she will discuss how surgeons can navigate the path from trainee to leader in academic medicine.

This session is intentionally designed as a small-group mentorship experience, allowing participants to engage directly with Dr. Troulis in open discussion. Topics include career strategy, mentorship, leadership development, navigating institutional structures, and building a meaningful and sustainable career in surgery.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own career questions for direct discussion with faculty, creating a dynamic and practical conversation focused on real-world guidance.
